FAQ

Here are questions that clients ask most frequently regarding our CBD products. If you have any other questions, we are here to help. Reach out at info@devsite6.wpengine.com.

Dosage

How do I determine what amount of CBD is right for me?

One dropper full of our 1,000 mg tincture is 33.34 mg. 30 doses (one full dropper) in our 1 oz bottle.

Due to individual circumstances, starting doses will be different. Various factors can affect what your best starting dose is, such as whether you have used oil tincture before, etc. If you have never used full spectrum hemp oil tincture, start with 1/4 to 1/2 dropper twice a day, then wait a week to increase your dose. It is suggested to take less in the morning than in the evening as you may experience relaxation.

Why are your tincture droppers not graduated/marked?

Paint used on graduated droppers can actually be a source of lead contamination! We simply WILL NOT risk contaminating our pure, clean products. Since it is impossible to lead-test every single dropper at our facility, our choice is to withhold this potential source of contamination outright, which we believe is the safest option. Withholding dropper markings allows us to maintain our commitment to quality and purity.

Can I overdose on CBD?

We cannot find any reported overdoses from someone using full spectrum hemp extract oil. Even so, we always advise to keep out of reach of children and pets as a standard safety precaution.

Not intended for use under the age of 18.

Do not use if pregnant or lactating.

Parts of the plant

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Think of the hemp plant and marijuana plant as “cousins” in the cannabis plant species. They are both of the same species of plant, cannabis, but bred with different compositions for different purposes.

The hemp plant contains HIGH CBD and LOW THC (under 0.3%).

The marijuana plant contains HIGH THC (over 0.3%) and LOW CBD.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are the highly aromatic compounds that determine the smell and taste of many plants and herbs.  Isolated terpenes have demonstrated beneficial effects on the body and help support other cannabis molecules (cannabinoids) in producing the desired “entourage effect”.  Read our article on the Endocannabinoid System to learn about the research on this.  Researchers continue to study terpenes to understand their potential therapeutic and medicinal uses fully.  Our full spectrum hemp extract oil tincture contains an additional terpene profile in addition to the profile in full spectrum hemp extract oil, so you can get the most out of your use.

What are cannabinoids?

CBD (cannabidiol) is the second-most-abundant type of cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. CBD cannabinoids do not exhibit psychoactive effects and are often described as calming rather than intoxicating. They contribute to CBD’s potential that may help treat anxiety, chronic pain, sleeplessness and other issues.

Legality

Can I fly across the country with CBD products?

Yes. Legal counsel, TSA guidelines as of January 2020 specifically state that “consumers can travel with CBD products as long as they contain no more than 0.3% THC dry weight basis.” All of our product labels contain such wording and our QR Codes take you directly to our website for access to third party testing showing less than 0.3% THC.

Is CBD legal in all 50 states?

Yes, if CBD products are derived from the hemp plant and contain less than 0.3% THC dry weight basis, they are legal. Labeling and containers should state such and should be up to each state’s current compliance. CBD products from the marijuana plant that contain more than 0.3% THC dry weight basis are not legal, so always make certain you know what products you have.
